An electrocution in east Tulsa is under investigation. It happened Tuesday while construction crews worked along US Highway 169 at 104th East Avenue.
Either the boom of the crane came into contact with electric lines or came close enough for electricity to jump from the line to the boom. The crane operator was not hurt, but a man on the ground was electrocuted.
He died on the way to the hospital.
