(Fallujah, Iraq-AP) -- A Navy chaplain is trying to bring the Easter spirit to U-S Marines in Fallujah (fuh-LOO'-juh).
Wayne Hall of Oklahoma City says he has conducted several church services today as a way of keeping the Marines in touch with God. He plans to hold services and visit the wounded soldiers all week. Hall says some Marines won't receive Easter services until Friday.
Hall says many of the Marines had lost track of time and didn't realize today was Easter. But he describes their spirits as "amazing," saying you wouldn't want a prisoner living in the conditions they've been forced to live in.
