OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An Oklahoma City man was charged Friday with six felony counts for allegedly defrauding customers seeking to sell boats and jet skis.

Zachary A. Bandy, 24, was charged in Oklahoma County District Court with six felony violations of the Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act. According to the attorney general's office, the owner of the now defunct American Boat Brokers in Oklahoma City is accused of bilking customers out of more than $88,000 after agreeing to act as a broker or assist in advertising.

``Bandy allegedly agreed to sell the watercraft for a small broker fee,'' said Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson. ``He was given a selling price for each vehicle which he generally did not adhere to, and we allege the money he received from sales was never forwarded to the original owners.''

In one instance, Bandy agreed to sell a boat for $15,500, but allegedly sold it for $10,000 and kept the entire amount, the attorney general's office reported.
