Senator Jim Inhofe is calling for Oklahoma's National Guard troops in Afghanistan to be home by fall.

Inhofe and two other senators visited Camp Phoenix in Afghanistan yesterday. Members of Oklahoma's 45th Infantry Brigade are based at Camp Phoenix where they're training troops for the Afghan National Army.

They're scheduled to work with the Afghan Army until the country's elections, which are set for June

Also, members of the 279th Infantry Battalion from Sand Springs are at Camp Phoenix to provide security.
