In Tulsa, voters decided a number of city council races. Let's begin with a close race in District 4. Only 24 votes separated the candidates. But Tom Baker was declared the winner over Eric Gomez.
In District 6, an upset. Republican James Mautino defeated the incumbent Democrat Art Justis. Mautino picked up 55% of the vote.
In District 1, it was an easy win for Democrat Jack Henderson, who defeated Roger Lowry with 88% of the vote.
In District 2, Republican incumbent Christopher Medlock holds on to his seat. Medlock picked up 59% of the vote to defeat former city councilor Darla Hall.
There were no problems for the incumbent in District 5. Republican Sam Roop received 58% of the vote to defeat former Tulsa Police spokesman Andrew Phillips.
And in District 9, no problems for Susan Neal. The Republican hangs on to her seat for another two year term, with 91% of the vote.
