Tulsa's crime rate is up for the third straight year. The number of homicides in Tulsa more than doubled, from 34 in 2002 to a record 69 last year.

The previous record for homicides was 68 in 1981.

Gang shootings, domestic violence, rapes, burglaries and larceny also increased, while the number of aggravated assaults and auto thefts dropped.
