A suspect shot while during a convenience store robbery this weekend is in the Tulsa County jail.

It happened early Sunday at the E-Z Mart on Sheridan near Virgin. The clerk told officers he'd been robbed and that he'd shot the thief who ran off. The police helicopter's infrared camera found the suspect hiding in a nearby dumpster.

He'd been shot twice and was taken to the hospital before going to jail. Police say they believe the same suspect robbed the store two weeks ago.
