(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A Red Flag Fire Alert for the western two-thirds of Oklahoma is now canceled, but a burn ban remains in the far western Panhandle.

The fire alert was canceled Wednesday morning by the Department of Forestry Services. But the department says the burn ban for Cimarron County is still in effect.
