The much anticipated movie, 'The Passion of the Christ" is in theaters now. After much debate, moviegoers will finally get a chance to judge the controversial film for themselves.

Many adults as well as children will see the movie. News on 6 reporter Patrina Adger went to Starworld 20 in south Tulsa where a group of teens watched the film Wednesday morning. Metro Christian Academy secured an entire movie theater at Starworld for their junior and senior students to watch the 'Passion of the Christ, the movie depicting the last 12 hours of Jesus' life.

Some Tulsa moviegoers have already seen this much anticipated film. Folks attended the Passion's midnight showing at the Cinemark Theater. The movie is rated R. It's violent, graphic and controversial to some. But those who have seen it say it's a movie that will change lives.

“I thought it was awesome. A wonderful portrayal of what Christ did for us."

"It was amazing! It left me in awe. I would have stayed there for hours."

"It was a very good movie. Everyone should go and see it."
