McAlester's Army Ammunition plant may be a prime location to store antibiotics and other medications to counter a bioterrorism attack.
State and county officials are considering it. A plant spokesman says concrete bunkers buried deep in the earth are already in the right temperature range to store the drugs and the site has links to railroads and highways so that medications can be easily distributed.
