A Tulsa woman is shot and police believe it was for her money. It happened early Wednesday morning, as the woman returned home from a bingo hall.

Tulsa Police received several calls around 1:30 AM to check out shots fired in an east Tulsa neighborhood. Officers say as the woman got out of her truck, two men approached. The suspects tried to take the woman's purse and she fought them. As she tried to get into her home, she was shot twice.

The suspects ran off and haven't been seen since. The victim is at at Tulsa hospital. There is no update on her condition.
