Tulsa Police are looking for a suspect in an early morning robbery. Around 7:30 AM Tuesday, a man with a gun met the manager of the El Chico restaurant at 51st and Lewis.

The man wore a bandana over his face and wanted money. The manager tried to get away. Tulsa Police Sgt Rex Mann: â€œat that point he was pistol whipped by the suspect brought back to the business, forced to open, disable the alarm, forced to open the door of the business.â€

The manager opened the cash register, when he was pistol whipped again. The suspect got away. Police believe he either went to a nearby apartment or drove off.

The manager suffered some head injuries, but will be okay.
