Tulsa Police are looking for a suspect in an early morning robbery. Around 7:30 AM Tuesday, a man with a gun met the manager of the El Chico restaurant at 51st and Lewis.

The man wore a bandana over his face and wanted money. The manager tried to get away. Tulsa Police Sgt Rex Mann: “at that point he was pistol whipped by the suspect brought back to the business, forced to open, disable the alarm, forced to open the door of the business.”

The manager opened the cash register, when he was pistol whipped again. The suspect got away. Police believe he either went to a nearby apartment or drove off.

The manager suffered some head injuries, but will be okay.
