Suspicious suspect arrested behind some east Tulsa businesses

A man is in the Tulsa County jail after being arrested by a security guard. Tulsa Police say a security guard saw a man unhitching a trailer from a pickup truck behind a business in an industrial area near 51st and Mingo around 11:30 Wednesday night.

The man was driving what was believed to be a stolen truck. Investigators say the column had been popped on the truck. Tulsa Police Sgt. Glenn Uhren: "A white man took off running around the front end of the truck and the security guard took him into custody."

Investigators aren't sure if the man was alone and was dumping the trailer or if he planned to break into one of the businesses.
