The lawyer for a former FBI agent charged with murder in Oklahoma wants a mental evaluation of his client.

Paul Rico's attorney says Rico is confused, hallucinating, paranoid and disoriented while in custody in Florida.

Oklahoma prosecutors say Rico should be in Oklahoma before the mental competency question is heard.

Rico was arrested in Florida in October on a murder charge in the 1981 shooting death of Tulsa businessman Roger Wheeler.
