The University of Tulsa Engineering Department got a 67 horse-powered boost Tuesday.

Conoco-Phillips donated a Honda Insight to the school Tuesday. The gas and electric hybrid will be used in engineering classes for hands on teaching and for research projects.

In the past decade, TU students have designed and built three hybrid electric cars and have won two national competitions.
