An uncertain future for Tulsa's State Farm workers. The insurance company has finished an 18-month long efficiency study that will decide the fate of its regional offices, including the one here in Tulsa.

The local office employs somewhere between 700 and 800 people. No decision has been made, but a spokesperson says the now-completed efficiency study -does- show how the Tulsa office stacks up against its competition.

John Wiscaver, State Farm spokesman: "The whole process is about evaluating facilities and again, the way we do business and currently the things that we can do that we can consolidate and make more efficient for doing business better in the Central zone."

State Farm isn't making the study's findings public and the company says it won't make a decision until the first quarter of next year.
