Here's a story that will make you scratch your head in wonder. Christopher Ferguson was let out of prison early on parole after a number of drug convictions.
Since he's been out, he's been arrested for a misdemeanor of stealing gas and then a felony drug possession and a drunk driving charge. His parole officer requested the Oklahoma Department of Corrections revoke Ferguson's parole and send him back to prison, but DOC said 'no.' Then, Ferguson was arrested for felony sexual battery and again his parole officer again requested Ferguson be sent back to prison and again, DOC said 'no.'
The Department of Corrections tells News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright, these decisions are a judgment call based on how serious the violations are and if the person is better off getting help than going back behind bars.
Fullbright has also found out Ferguson's suspected of breaking other parole rules and his parole officer is now made a third request. That one is still pending.
