(Dallas-AP) -- Colorado has to do something it hasn't done in 45 years to get bowl eligible. The Buffaloes have to beat Nebraska for the third straight year.
Colorado is 5-and-6 overall and 3-and-4 in Big 12 play. It last won three straight against Nebraska in the late 1950s.
The Cornhuskers enter Friday's game with a 9-and-3 overall record and a 4-and-3 Big 12 mark.
Top-ranked, unbeaten Oklahoma and 19th-ranked Kansas State are off as they prepare for the Big 12 championship game December Sixth in Kansas City Missouri.
Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Kansas also have finished their schedules and are waiting for bowl invitations.
