An investigation into an unusual case of a shooting and claims of a bomb. It's kept Tulsa County Sheriff's deputiesâ€™ busy late Monday evening.

A man was found sitting in his car along Avery Road near Chandler Park around 11 o'clock Monday night. He told deputies he'd been shot in the stomach, and a bomb rigged to him would explode if he moved.

Avery Drive was shut down for an hour while the bomb squad went through the car. No bomb was found. Sheriffâ€™s deputies did find a handgun.

The man is being treated at a Tulsa hospital. Authorities are still trying to figure out what happened.
