(New York-AP) -- Memorabilia from the career of baseball Hall-of-Famer and Commerce, Oklahoma, native Mickey Mantle will be auctioned next month.
Mantle's widow, Merlyn, and his surviving sons Danny and David are selling the items, including every professional contract he signed.
Mantle's first contract is to play for the New York Yankees' farm club in Independence, Missouri, in 1949 for an e$11,500 bonus and $140-a-month. The last one is with the Yankees for $100,000 in 1968.
Two of his three MVP trophies are being sold along with several home run balls.
The auction will be December 8th at Madison Square Garden by Guernsey's.
