An efficiency study by State Farm Insurance Company could mean closing the Tulsa office.

780 people work at their offices in east Tulsa, which opened in 1989. The company launched a study last year, which officials say could result in consolidation of tasks or even closing one of its regional offices.

Depending on the results, Tulsa could gain or lose jobs. The office handles nearly 2-million insurance policies in Oklahoma and Kansas.
