A young Tulsa boy is proud to know he's being considered a hero. The fire department honored 7-year-old Trevor Price at Lindsey Elementary with a hero award for saving his family from a fire.
An outlet by Trevor's bed caught fire early one morning. Trever woke up and got his family out safely. "It caught on fire and then I woke up from the heat because the fire was on my blanket and it was warm."
A couple of weeks before the fire, the fire department visited Trevor's school to talk fire safety with the students.
