(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A foreclosure auction of Blue Ribbon Downs race track will proceed after the state Supreme Court refused to block the sale.

The court rejected a request by track owner Race Horses Incorporated to block Tuesday's scheduled auction of the Sallisaw track.

Sallisaw city officials have been trying to foreclose on the track, saying Race Horses owes the city $2.8-million from a 1995 loan.

Race Horses officials say they have damage claims against the city.
