Tulsa robbery detectives want to catch the men who robbed two places Monday within a few hours of each other.
The first one happened at a bank at 6th and Apache. The second happened near 11th and Peoria. At the Bank One branch, four men wearing masks and fake beards raced inside fired a few rounds in the air to scare everyone and took money. But, the dye pack exploded on the money, so the suspects left it and their stolen get-away car just a few blocks away.
The second robbery took place at an insurance business. Tulsa Police Sgt Wayne Allen: "There were three black men wearing masks who came inside, herded everyone into a backroom and robbed the place." This is the first time in 10 years of business; the insurance company's been robbed.
The employees were so upset, the business closed for the rest of the day.
If you know anything about this robbery, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
