(Washington-AP) -- Time to fall back -- say goodbye to daylight-savings time this weekend.
Clocks shift back one hour at 2 AM Sunday -- local time.
That will give an extra hour of sleep to most people tomorrow night -- and an extra hour of work to those who work the overnight shift.
The change to Standard Time also means it'll be dark an hour earlier on Halloween, calling for extra caution on the part of drivers and those watching children on their candy rounds.
Officials say this is also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.
Daylight-saving time returns in April.
