(Bartlesville-AP) -- The Delaware Tribe and city officials in Dewey have an agreement allowing the tribe to develop land in the city.

The agreement gives the tribe 6 months to pursue development of 17 acres along US Highway 75.

Tribal economic director Earnest Tiger says the plans call for a truck and travel plaza, convenience store, a 60-room hotel, a gift shop and a restaurant.

City Manager Bruce Johnson says the six months could be extended if the tribe is making progress on the development.
