A Tulsa church is praying for a Good Samaritan hospitalized with severe injuries he suffered trying to help victims of a fatal car wreck.

The Friendship Baptist Church at 1709 North Madison took time to remember William Craig. A semi-truck hit him last Monday, while pulling victims from busy Highway 412 near Chouteau.

Craig's son, David says the service was a good reminder to help out other families of victims, not just his family. " I just urge people to help people out in the conditions because the love and support I believe is another dose of medicine that helps the victim's recover faster.”

Craig remains in critical condition and is expected to undergo more surgery this week.
