(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A Missouri-based developer is planning a $35-million Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City.

John Q- Hammons says it will build a 10-story, 245-suite hotel in the Bricktown district with opening scheduled in January 2006.

Hammons also manages the Renaissance Oklahoma City Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott in Oklahoma City and Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center.
