(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A truck driver who stopped along I-40 in eastern Oklahoma made a gruesome discovery.

Authorities say the man found a woman's body in a ditch near the interstate in McIntosh County.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says the body has not been identified, but is believed to have been in the ditch for several days.

Brown says the body has been sent to the state medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
