Two arrested following Walgreens robbery

And quick work by Tulsa Police has landed 2 people in jail Friday morning. Police say around five o’clock; a man robbed the Walgreens at about 15th and Lewis.

They say an armed man wearing a Halloween mask walked in and demanded money. He then took ran off. When officers questioned a witness, they found his story didn't match-up and that he apparently served as a lookout. Tulsa Police Cpl BC Leonard, “he implicated himself in the robbery and his cousin and while were doing that interview, the cousin. He skated by on a skateboard so we stopped the cousin and took him into custody.”

Police recovered a walkie-talkie and some other items. They also went to the cousins' home where they believed they would find the money and the weapon.

Charges are pending.
