A Glenpool teacher faces manslaughter charges, for the death of her infant son. Diedre Tucker is a high school teacher who admits she left her baby in a car in the school parking lot.

The 5-month-old boy died after spending 8 hours in the hot car. Prosecutors say although Tucker is devastated by the incident, she must answer for her actions in the courtroom. Tulsa County assistant DA, Stephen Kunzweiler, "the reality is as a prosecutor if we put ourselves in the position of just picking and choosing which defendants we're going to apply the law to and which we weren't we're not doing justice to our community."

Prosecutors say under the law the infant's death is a matter of negligence, and it cannot be overlooked.
