Here's a story about a thief who made no excuses to Tulsa Police when he was caught.

Officers say Greg Caldwell snatched a woman's purse over the weekend at the Reasors parking lot at 71st and Sheridan. Witnesses jumped in their car and followed him, while talking to police on a cell phone. Officers caught up with Caldwell, pulled him over and could see the purse in the seat next to him.

When officers asked him why he'd taken the purse, they say Caldwell never missed a beat and replied, "because I'm stupid."

He was taken to the Tulsa County jail.
