(Tulsa-AP) -- Officials say Annika Sorenstam has committed to defending her title in Tulsa's LPGA tournament.
Sorenstam said in a conference call with reporters in July that she would return to the tournament, now called the John Q. Hammons Hotel Classic. Players had until 5 PM Tuesday to officially commit.
Sorenstam won last year's Williams Championship at the Tulsa Country Club by four strokes over Lorie Kane. She joins Julie Inkster, Se Ri Pak and Karrie Webb as top players at this year's 54-hole tournament.
