NEW YORK (AP) _ Coming soon to a theater near you: Estee Lauder.

The cosmetics company has filmed a commercial for its new fragrance, Beyond Paradise, that will debut in more than 10,000 movie theaters nationwide in September.

Directed by Luc Besson (``The Fifth Element'' and ``La Femme Nikita''), the commercial stars supermodel Carolyn Murphy and features a song from Madonna's ``American Life'' album.

``We wanted the advertising to be groundbreaking for Estee Lauder. The association of Luc Besson, Madonna and Carolyn Murphy will make for an exceptional visual and acoustic experience for movie and television audiences around the world,'' Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, group president of The Estee Lauder Cos., said in a recent statement.

Murphy is the protagonist in a magical world of water, flowers and fairies in the 30-second spot. Top special effects experts in France spent several months composing each frame of the commercial with an exclusive cut of Madonna's ``Love Profusion'' track.

A TV version will air on MTV, VH1, E! and Style cable channels, the company said.
