An early Tuesday morning standoff ends with a man behind bars. Tulsa Police officers were called to the Meadowbrook apartments around 2:30 Tuesday morning.

That's where a warrant was being served on Lattrell Battle Junior. He was wanted for shooting with intent to kill. After a couple of hours, Battle gave up. Tulsa Police Captain GB Poindexter, â€œwe took him into custody after surrounding the apartments here at basically 11th and Mingo a little bit North Meadowbrook Apartments. We surrounded the apartments called him out and he gave up without a struggle so no one was injured.â€

Battle is in the Tulsa County jail. His father, Lattrell Battle Senior was found dead in a Tulsa hotel over the weekend.

Two suspects have been arrested in his murder.
