Christian leaders from around the world gathered Wednesday to say goodbye to the founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, an Oklahoman.

Thousands of people gathered at the First Baptist Church of Orlando, Florida, in a public memorial for Bill Bright, who grew up in Coweta. Bright was a long-time friend of the Reverend Bill Graham.

A private memorial was held last week in Colorado. Bright died July 19th from complications of pulmonary fibrosis, he was 81-years-old.
