(Norman-AP) -- Five people, including an Oklahoma football player, have been arrested following what police described as a melee.

The fight started Thursday at an apartment in Norman and continued later at a hospital.

It was sparked when Jacob Luna, a third-string walk-on for the Sooners, and another man discussed the annual Oklahoma versus Texas football game at a party.

Police say the man left the party but returned with several other men, some armed with baseball bats. Several people were injured, including a woman who was hit in the head with a chair.

Another fight broke out in the hospital's emergency room as those injured in the first fight showed up for treatment.

Luna was booked with assault and battery.
