(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma Athletics Director Joe Castiglione has named Curtis Jones as director of compliance.

Jones came to OU last year. He served as the interim director of compliance before being hired into the position full time.

He previously served as a product line manager for Nike and as director of football operations at the University of Missouri.

Castiglione says Jones did a good job in his interim position, and has a promising career before him.

Jones received his bachelor's degree from Dartmouth in 1995. He won four letters there in baseball. He received his master's degree from Missouri in 1998.
