Tulsa prosecutors are trying to stop fans from attacking umpires and referees. Prosecutors have filed charges against five players and a fan that allegedly punched and kicked a referee at a June 25th basketball game in Broken Arrow.
Similar charges were filed against a man who prosecutors say grabbed a 15-year-old umpire by the neck at a June 26th game in Broken Arrow.
In Oklahoma City, an alleged assault cost Yukon coach Larry McVay his job.
