A former Rogers County police chief has pleaded guilty, to embezzlement. Former Chief Bob Lee Slagle Junior of Oologah was accused of collecting cash bail from defendants and failing to turn over the money to the town clerk.

Slagle received a five-year deferred sentence and probation. He'll also spend 60 days in the Rogers County jail, or perform 240-hours of community service.
