Suspect arrested following a break-in at Tulsa's Hale High School

An arrest is made in the attempted burglary of a Tulsa high school. An alarm sent Hale High School security guards to the school around four o'clock Thursday morning.

When they arrived, they found a man with a van, and tried to talk to him. But the man quickly drove off. Tulsa Police Cpl Brett H Bilyeu, “the individual said he had to go, he entered his van and ends up coming to Admiral and Yale Where a Tulsa Police Officer stopped the car. And come to find out there's blood at the scene, there's blood on the suspect and there's a towel in the van that has blood on it.”

A man in his early 20's has been arrested. His name hasn't been released and charges are pending. Tulsa Police are checking to see if anything was stolen.
