The rising cost of a college education in Oklahoma. State regents Monday approved a 25% tuition hike for OU and OSU.

The increase amounts to about $800 a year for Oklahoma residents. Tuition at the state's regional four-year universities will go up an average of $429.

Expect a $270 increase at two-year colleges.
