A new Miss Oklahoma has been crowned. Kelley Scott of Owasso beat out 43 other contestants for the title. Kelley is 22 years old.

She won after five years in the pageant and says she can't believe she's finally made it. She's a senior at Oklahoma City University and represented the Oklahoma State Fair. Kelly's platform is to get Oklahoma's children healthy again. "It's not about weight, it's not about our looks, it's not about how much we weigh, its about being heart healthy and exercising that heart so they can do anything and be anything they want to be. Because it takes a healthy body to achieve healthy dreams."

Kelly will prepare through the summer to compete for the title of Miss America in September.
