War kept him from graduating high school. Wednesday night a World War II veteran finally has his diploma.

AJ Rutledge walked across the stage to accept it during the ceremony for the 2003 graduates from Edison High School. Rutledge served in the US Army as a combat infantryman in Europe and received three Bronze Stars.

He's one of 118-veterans that were granted their diplomas from Tulsa Public Schools over the past two years.
