A Tulsa Police manhunt Tuesday morning ends with a suspect in custody. It’s a story you'll only see here on the "News on 6."
Authorities acting on a tip went to a west Tulsa home at 1700 West Newton around 6 AM. That's where they found 22-year-old Eric O'Donnell hiding. O'Donnell had a warrant out of Logan County on explosives charges. After some negotiations, he was arrested, but not without putting up a fight. Tulsa Police Corporal Dan Miller, “Eric at first attempted to surrender to us but decided to fight at which time pepper spray was administered.â€
Police say O'Donnell tried to hide from officers by lying under several inches of insulation.
He's been taken to the Tulsa County Jail and will await a transfer back to Logan County.
