A Tulsa English teacher has become the first woman in America to win a million dollars on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire."

Nancy Christy teaches at Carver Middle School, and says she's long told her students that paying attention pays off. Now she can show them the check. The show was taped in December, and rules have kept Christy from talking about it. But when her victory airs today - her students will have a watch party.

It wasn't that long ago that Christy worked three jobs to support her two children as a single mom and put herself through college. Christy says she has no plans to give up her job. Especially now that she can prove knowledge can be worth a million.
