(Water Valley, Kentucky-AP) -- A man wanted on rape and child abuse charges in Oklahoma is now in custody in Kentucky.

Police say an anonymous tip led them to John Beatty, who was arrested at his home in Graves County, Kentucky, yesterday.

Beatty faces two rape charges, one charge of attempted rape and eight counts of sexual abuse of a child in Pottawatomie County.

Authorities say Graves is jailed on a 50-thousand dollar bond and is to make a court appearance next Tuesday.
