Tulsa Police are looking for crooks that broke into a Tulsa auto shop two weeks ago and then hit a similar Coweta business this past weekend.

Both times, the thieves cut the phone lines to disable the alarm system then spent their time picking and choosing the merchandise they wanted, most of it having to do with drag racing. They took two engines worth about $30,000 each, safety equipment and more.

They even used the store's dollies to take load up the loot. Car and Fleet Auto Parts’ safe and antique cash register were found in a north Tulsa field the following day.

A handmade neon sign with the business' name on it is still missing.

Anyone who knows about this break-in or sees racing equipment being sold at a big discount, can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You don't have to give your name and could earn up to a thousand dollars in cash if police make an arrest.
