Storm clean up will take some time for many in Washington County. After a weekend tornado left behind a path of destruction.

The state emergency management office says an F-2 tornado damaged 40 homes on Saturday, 15 were severely damaged. Two businesses were also destroyed.

Currently the damage adds up to about $1.7-million, but that will likely increase in coming days.

Anyone with uninsured losses can call Washington County Emergency Management at 918-331-2710.

Some Washington County residents affected by Saturday's tornado may also be eligible for property tax relief. Call the county assessor's office at 918-337-2830 to see if you qualify.
