Oklahoma City - The first few pieces of Oklahoma's Land Run Monument along the Bricktown Canal in Oklahoma City will be dedicated tomorrow.
Five pieces of the monument are complete. Eventually, there will be 45 pieces telling the story of the Sooners who staked land when Oklahoma was opened to non-Indian settlement.
The ceremony begins at 11:30 tomorrow morning.
Governor Henry says the five-(M)-million-dollar monument will be the signature symbol of Oklahoma.
The monument is part of a celebration of Oklahoma's centennial in 2007.
